Each of these is a real system with a live URL and the actual architecture described. Where we don't have a business metric, we say so rather than inventing one.
Shark Labs publishes case studies of systems it has built and continues to maintain, describing the architecture, the trade-offs and the decisions taken against. Each names the client, links to the live system, and states which figures are verified rather than estimated.

Shark Labs is new. Rather than pad this page with projects the founder shipped elsewhere and present them as studio work, that history sits on the about page where it belongs — attributed to where it was actually done. Case studies get added here as Shark Labs client work completes and clients agree to be named.
